The FM432ir is a professional IoT sensor designed to monitor electricity consumption at 1- or 15-minute intervals (depending on the configuration). It is installed directly on the existing main electricity meter and enables reliable remote reading without any intervention in the existing infrastructure. The system consists of an optical read head for the meter and a separate wireless unit, including batteries.The sensor is specifically designed to read data via the infrared communication port of modern electricity meters using the SML protocol, but also works with traditional Ferraris electromechanical meters.
