It could be said that Enginko – although its name is new – first saw the light of day some twenty years ago, when two engineer friends began investing in and developing the ‘contactless’ sector, sensing that the market would increasingly move in this direction in the years to come. RFtech ®, as the company was then known, soon made a name for itself in the vending world and contributed to its growth thanks to innovations and concepts that were later implemented on a large scale, some of which are still used and appreciated today. During the same period – it was the year 2001 – mcf88® was also founded, a company that found its way into the IoT world by designing and manufacturing devices with advanced technologies. Since their inception, the two companies have enjoyed a fruitful collaboration between a number of professionals. This marked the beginning of a very intensive partnership involving research and development, investment, coherent strategies and outstanding results. In 2020, the idea arose to join forces from an administrative, R&D and communication design perspective as well. This led to the creation in 2020 of ‘enginko’, the brand that represents the union of the two companies’ spirits – an identity designed to tell the story of continuous improvement and the provision of even more comprehensive and structured services. The presence of a team of engineers and programmers specialising in the development of electronic devices and their connectivity.
