This innovative membrane format is specially designed for use in refrigerators and offers maximum efficiency and versatility. The membrane, similar to the ‘22.86 x 45.72cm’ version, can be flexibly customised by cutting it along the horizontal axis. This feature allows for easy customisation to different installation types and machine configurations. The two resulting halves can either be connected to separate wireless modules or to two ports of a single wireless module, offering maximum flexibility.
Application tips:
For optimal performance and added safety, we recommend installing the membrane upside down, with the conductive side facing up. This orientation makes the sensor less sensitive to smaller amounts of liquid, minimising the risk of false alarms. For example, accidental triggering of the leak sensor by melted ice cubes or small spillages can be avoided. This clever installation means that a significant amount of water must be present to trigger the sensor, ensuring increased reliability in everyday use.
